So this begs that question ... is X1 Republican, Democrat, or Tea Party?

The constitution of Cakewalk is being ignored. Better impeach them. Seth/Brandon come here for a moment. We need to have a little chat. :)

That sounds so darn long! ;-) It sure feels it to me! ;-) Funny how words can work, eh? ...and my next guess is it won't be until Friday (8/5) as they usually wait until Friday night to post releases.... but maybe a word or two? That would go a long way....

I wonder if they are keeping track of the fact that they are running out of July? EDIT: Or I suppose you could say that they didn't say WHICH July.

Well, in Cakewalk's defense, they specifically said " We will have more information about SONAR X1c in late July." They never said that they would share that information with us. At any rate, in my business, COB Friday essentially means the same thing as 8:00 AM Monday.

The US passed a Bill this week to extend July until the Budget legislation is enacted, otherwise global financial calamity will ensue. I understand that due to a drafting error caused by the haste with which it was drawn up the "H.R. 2714 - Calendar Augmentation (Temporary Extension) 2011" bill applies to all other US calendar-based commitments. Once fiscal prudence is reached the bill will be repealed, so August should be able to commence before the end of this week.

I just thought of the 'obvious'... They've (The Bakers) surprised us before, and they've got X1c ready and final testing so the will simply announce that it is available.... that's gonna be the next release... ;-) Keni

We have to wait until after July 35th or so for news. This is one of those millennial leap-type years. From the International Calendar Conference: "Every year that is a prime number and is surrounded by two years that have double-digit dates (10-10-10, 11-11-11, 12-12-12) will have as many days in a month as is necessary to get things done." So while most peoples' calendars may have moved into August, the Bakers' calendars are still in July until such time it isn't. This raises the problem of date relativity as put forth by Einstein's contemporaries and Hallmark. But it will all eventually work out, as once everyone moves into August there will be a date contraction and all will be well. Ish.
