Loop Explorer View is frozen and unresponsive

Loop Explorer View(LEV) in Sonar VS100 software no longer responds and is permanently frozen no matter what project file I open... I have rebooted several times but it remains unresponsive until I double click on a file within the LEV of which responds with error message "An invalid argument was encounted" and nothing happens, problem still remains.  It shows my hard drive of folders but will not allow me to select anything.  I have the latest updates installed.  Can anyone help shed some light, can I fix this or is this a bug thats unfixable until the next upgrade.  As it was all good for months until now.
