Live Performance Mac SW (Midi automation/VST Host)

Does anybody know of any stable pro-level live automation SW for mac like cantible and Forte?  I found the previous two from a post on this forum and really liked what they do but think I'm going live with a Macbook instead of a PC.

I'm looking for something to do set lists, automate midi setup/patch changes of HW synths, trigger samples, host VSTs as efficiently as possible etc.  I have thought of using Sonar or Ableton Live but since all of the extra recording features aren't needed for live performance I wanted to find something more focused on Live performances.

Thanks

I saw you ask this in the other thread, but you do realize you're asking this question on a cakewalk forum which is not compatible with Apple OS - it's PC only.  there are some people here who use macs and you might get a response or two, but this is probably not the best forum for asking this question since most users here are PC based.

You're right.  I don't know why I thought Sonar was ported to Mac at some point.  I was incorrect.  Thanks for the feedback.

That was Wavelab. Just stick with Ableton Live for live performance. Then get an iPad as a control surface for Live. I recommend TouchAble.

Most of the folks I know who use laptops live use Mainstage, which is bundled w/ Logic Pro. I think automation has to be done in Logic though.

EDIT - Just realized that you specify VST plug-ins. Those aren't supported. But if you also have the AU version, you're covered.
