I guess I should have pointed out that as the whole event was our club rally any club member "on duty" had to wear their Hi-Vis.  And that meant me, even when I was sneaking around back stage replacing the drum monitor that had bounced across the stage and landed on the guitar amp...

Ok.  I'll ask.  What strange set of circumstances conspired to cause the drum monitor to bounce across the stage and land on the guitar amp?  By the way, congrats on successfully hitting the guitar amp.  I'm sure that required some mad skillz.

Well...  The drum monitor was a standard wedge sat on top of a sub. You can see it in the pic of Riff Raff's sound check.

 The thump from the sub bounced the wedge around untill it leapt into the air, did a double back summersalt (with twist) and landed on a defenseless Fender twin that was only there for the cheap beer.

A couple of strips of folded gaffer tape and it was permanently glued in place.
