Metronome Audio Sounds X1 Trial

Hey guys.  Finally, considering upgrading from 8.5.3 to X1.

I downloaded the trial.... Finally found the Metronome Dialog..hehe  there doesn't appear to be any sounds loaded for the audio metronome?

I did a search and found something about running as ADMIN on my box.... which I am...

Sorry for the dumb question?

Anyone know how load the sounds ie (low ping, high ping, cowbel) in X1?

PS.

Then I have to figure out how to make Superior Drummer trigger and I will be ready to make the leap to X1!  lololol

Superior works perfectly for me in 8.5.3 by the way.  WITHOUT Jbridge.  Just not working in the X1 trial.

Sonar X1 and Superior Drummer all up to date and using 64 bit versions of both.  SORRY... forgot to mention that earlier.

just find your old metronome sounds from your previous version of sonar and drap them to the new metronome folder on x1

Not enough info to determine what's up with Superior.

Thanks guys.... sorry about the vagueness of the superior question.... I did a search and someone had suggested re-scanning the VST folder to make sure the X1 was finding the 64 bit SD .dll.

Going to try that tonight and see if that fixes me up.

Thanks for the advice on the metronome.

I'm still trying to get used to the new interface...... so I'm moving a bit slow......

Thanks for all the help guys!

Copied the Metronome files from 8.5.3 to the X1 trial metronome folder and it worked perfect.

Superior was a little hard to figure out.... just because I haven't had to set the midi IN... in the preferences in a couple of YEARS.....

    That was my issue......

Soon as they bring back ye ole 99 upgrade... I'm in.

Thanks again for the nudge in the right direction.....

    Jon

PS..... By the way.... DO NOT PASTE THAT % sign stuff from the other thread into your run dialog.... that shut down my machine........!!!!!!!!!!

Just COPY from met folder to met folder and all is good..... just trying to help out the next poor slob that tries to upgrade......heheheh
