    Hi,
i would be grateful too if someone would answer this, i'm having the same problem only with A-500PRO

    EDIT:
i found that setting the controller to remote in settings makes it programmable through Ableton

The question is, is there a controller map out there that can be put into Ableton so it is included in their factory list of controllers. The A300Pro has 3 maps for "Live" - numbers 12, 13 1nd 14 that say "Mute" "Solo" and "Record" - whatever that means. The problem I'm having is that I have to dial in a set velocity for the keyboard - key velocity seems disengaged with the Live maps. Just got Live so I'm still working on it...

    This worked for me.

    1) Create a new control map - set all controls you want to map to output on channel 16, port 2, using a different note for each button and different Control Change for each pot/slider. I used control map 0 and set the autoload to that rather than last set.
    2) Set the keyboard via the edit menu to output on port 1. H ACTIVITY should be OFF.

    3) Set Ableton to track from Port 1 and Remote from Port 2.

I use channel 16 for any custom control maps since it's global for all controllers in Ableton and never use it for actual note data.

I didn't think the velocity can be fixed in a control map - but you can assign the velocity control to the assignable rotary and set it to "Touch".
