Hey Bats, have you ever seen Bruce Brown's surf movie Hollow Days?


You'd think it was a surf film but right in the middle it has a sequence of 3 guys doing an 18 mile downhill ski run on a glacier in New Zealand.

It was circa 1961... and the footage is really beautiful. Old film footage shot with polarizers and wild back light.

It made me think of you.


Anyways... you may enjoy checking it out... it's only a few minutes... but it's something I thought seemed special because the film was made 50 years ago.
