Pedal Steel Guitar Synth?

I know the pedal steel is a very difficult instrument to replicate electronically, but I wonder if anyone knows of a good pedal steel synth I could I could to add that color to my compositions--especially one that can reasonably handle the bends without all the midi manipulation?
