metronome recording on audio tracks

Hey folks.  Don't know what's changed but now I can't record an audio track without getting the metronome recording on the same track as well.  Looked at the settings from previous sessions and everything looks the same. Everything is the same on the outboard side as far as I can tell.

HELP!!!!

    Hi Dave,
    You have the choice to have the metronome play in either record mode or playback mode or both. My guess is that you have the playback mode selected as well and so on you play what you've recorded, it's as if the metronome has been recorded. Look for the metronome tool bar and deselect metronome on playback.
