    My guess is that the tooth sensitivity is the result of the tooth whitening products that she used to get the acting job (the "peroxides" are known to cause temporary tooth sensitivity).  Any oral care product with potassium nitrate (or possibly strontium nitrate) as an active ingredient may help with the sensitivity.
