Audio loop not streaching to tempo

Hi all. New to Sonar so...
When i drag an audio loop to the track i know how to make it fit mt temp by pressing ctrl (windows 7) and drag it to fit but when i change the temp in the project it dose not fir again its short or long.
I marked the stretch to temp in the grrove clip (not sure if i need to do that) but its the same problem.

In my other program i just insert the loop and thats it. How do i do it the right way here. is there a video maybe. Maybe there is another name for it in sonar?

Thank you

How long is this audio clip? Is it one you want to loop over and over?

Well in some cases i will loop it. I did do the looping action and now know how to do it. But even when i change the tempo and click play its the same speed if i lower the tempo or maker faster the loop sounds the same, not slow or fast and its a problm.
Lets say my tempo is 135 and the loop dose not have the temp info (or even if it dose)
when i drag it to the track its lets say 4.5 bars and not 4 or something like that.
so after i drag it to fit the 4 bars with the stretch option its just changing back when i change the bpm and its not slow or fast when i change the
    bmp so......

I just recorded an audio clip and slip-edited it to 5 measures.
I right clicked the clip and selected Groove Clip Looping.
I get a message saying that hidden data beyond slip edit points will be discarded. Continue? I press OK.
If you cut the clip to the length you want you won't get that message.

Now I have a groove clip. I click and drag the right end of the clip out so it is 15 measures long and plays 3 times.
The original tempo is 100. I change it to 80 and the clip plays slower.
I change the tempo to 160 and the clip plays faster.
I opened the Tempo View and drew tempo changes in that made the clip speed up and slow down between 80 BPM and 160 BPM. Everything worked fine.

and all I did was right click the clip and select Groove Clip Looping.

I am not recording the loop. Just dragging it from my library.
