Midi write tool: When I mouse in the note, it's a tiny dot with no volume.

I don't know what I clicked by mistake, I was writing in midi nots with a value of 100 and in quater intervals via the mouse and midi write tool.

I must have clicked on something by mistake because now when I click on the pencil tool and write, a tiny dot is written on the piano roll and I can not use the midi tool to stretch it or click on it to change the volume.

Goto the piano roll's Edit Menu and click on Notes/Velocity when this happens.

You're very likely entering CC information instead. You may have aftertouch or something similar enabled when you record and you've clicked on it inadvertently. I do that all the time
