Convert Track to Mono

I imported a vocal track.  It is in stereo, but there is no need for it to be.   I want to convert it to mono before using V-Vocal.

I can't find the command for converting the track from stereo to mono.  I do not see it when I right click on the track.

Thanks, FBB, but I don't know where this is.  I don't get this option right licking on the track, on the actual audio, or in the Inspector panel.  Where is this?

By the way, this is a good example of how unhelpful Sonar help is.  The help says:

[Track view] > Convert to Mono

This command lets you convert any selected audio clip(s) to mono.

How does this help find the command or icon?

In the track view just above where the counter/clock is you'll find the Track View menu. It reads from left to right
        View - Options - Tracks - Layers - Clips - MIDI - V-Vocal.

If you're relatively new to X1 you'll find a lot of the views now have these "view menus". Some like 'em, some don't......

OK, I don't see a convert track, but in the Track view, one of the Tabs at the top under the Control bar is Clips.  This drop-down has the convert to Mono command.

Question remaining: this track was created as a stereo track.  The program material is now mono.  How does one make the track itself Mono?  For example, it is possible to convert just one, some, or all clips to mono, but that still leaves the track in stereo format, right?

Not sure what you mean. Are you referring to the interleave stereo/mono button? If so that is only available in the inspector view. Show/Hide that by pressing I.

I believe in Track View you select the clip and then right click and in the drop down menu that appears: "convert to mono" or very close to that.

Unless there is something I have not heard of...different than this simple choice..I have used it countless times.
