Positive X1 experience

I had a very productive session with X1 last night. The best I've had so far in fact. What changed? Glad you asked.

I have found the best version for my system, (build 246) and left the Pro Channel behind. It finally clicked that there are lots of great alternatives to PC in the form of the Vintage Channel, Transient Shaper, Percussion Strip etc., and those are working really well for me. This personal attitude adjustment was great for me.

I worked on a 5 piece project with audio tracks and Session Drummer and it was rock solid. I was tuning drums during playback and processing audio effects live. As I listened to the track I was able to go on line and follow the various **** slapping contests that were going on last night. The true benefits of multitasking.

I encourage everyone to identify the things you hate most about X1, and ignore them, IF POSSIBLE. It sure is helping yours truly and I plan to stick with this approach when we get version C. My blood pressure was great today. Doctor approved!

It's after 4:00, time for the 2 olive solution. Have a great day.

Regards, John

Hi, John - That reads like a very honest report, and up-beat despite how you had to disable Pro Channel, one of the most touted new features, in order to get the program to behave.  I hope your problem with PC is resolved in the up-coming and much-anticipated update.

The only **** slapping going on around here was on the streets of London, Liverpool, Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol, Gloucester, or so I'm told.

    Allegedly.

I installed X1 on my wife's laptop and even without patching to X1A or B, it appears to be running really well (fingers crossed)
