Synth not triggering notes

Hello!
I always use Audiosnap to trigger drums.  In X1b, I often get midi notes that simply don't trigger the sound I have loaded into Session Drummer 3.

If there is a drum roll, 1/2 the hits aren't played.  They freeze fine, but when I'm EQing it sure sucks to have missed notes.  I'm not talking once in a while, I mean 1/2 the notes in the song aren't triggered or played.

Any ideas??

    Audiosnap to trigger drums?

That's a new one on me, can't really understand how it works.

Is this when triggering manually or when using SD3's loops / patterns? If its manual are you using input quantize (not audio snap) with to high a setting?

You could check in PRV (piano roll view) to see if any of the notes overlap.

    Just a thought

    Thanks

Ya I always use it when I have to replace or enhance a live drum.  I get my transients set up, I copy as midi, place into Session Drummer, and load up my drum sound.  Boom, replaced drum.

I am not doing anything other than copy-as-midi, paste.
The notes do not overlap.  I was actually surprised to see that X1 doesn't make the notes as long as possible anymore when doing the copy/paste thing.  But it shouldn't matter how long notes are for this type of thing.
(Deanx:  this, of course, means I'm manually triggering.  No loops)

    I am not quantizing anything.
Simply SD is not triggering 3/4 of the notes.  I really paid attention to it last night when mixing and it was pretty much a guessing game as to whether or not I had my drum sound right because I wasn't hearing it most of the time :S
