sonar 7 producer problems i cant hear the sound.

sonar 7 producer problems i cant hear the sound.

Hi i have installed sonar 7 producer in my computer with windowns 7 but it has a problem it was installed perfectly but when open the sonar 7 producer the line moves but no sound comes out of the speakers. I have reason installed and it works perfectly sound come out of speakers. Can anyone help me?

    what soundcard are you using?  which operating system?  which version of sonar 7?  do you have the latest update for S7?

    what soundcard are you using?  which operating system?  which version of sonar 7?  do you have the latest update for S7?

    Iam using a laptop so i dont really know what sound card iam using. my operating sistem is windows 7. my sonar version i think is 7.0.1 and i dont have any updates please help.

    all "onboard" soundcards are basically the same.  their drivers are poor and not great for recording especially in a complicated program like sonar.

    first, try using MME driver mode
    OPTIONS>AUDIO>ADVANCED>DRIVER MODE = MME
    click OK
    it will pop up a window telling you to shut down sonar (I think S7 did this) and then when you start it back ut it will want to run the wave profiler - let it.
    that might get you started.

    you also need to update to the latest S7 version.

    No that didnt work. I still can,t hear the sound.

    Have you got Recording and Playback Timing Master selected in the options dialogue, as well as Input/Output drivers for your soundcard?



    SONAR PE 8.5.3, Asus P5B, 2,4 Ghz Dual Core, 4 Gb RAM, GF 7300, EMU 1820, Bluetube Pre  -  Kontakt4, Ozone, Addictive Drums, PSP Mixpack2, Melda Creative Pack, Melodyne Plugin etc.
