How To hear My vocals in my headphones ,,?? URGENT!

Okay so i have sonar home studio 7 am a begginer hiphop artist so all i have right now is the sonar home studio and a usb mic called a Snowball , and i was wondering how to hear my vocals throw my headphones the right way, because i put echo but its a really bad echo and i was wondering if there is a way to make it sound clear ? you know the way its suppost to be.. Someone help please

    Look if the sticky about USB-mics on the LE-forum offers you any help. In multitracking the USB-mics usually equal to trouble. Some are able to use them, but they're ok only in simple podcasting, not in multitracking.

    If by "echo" you mean the "Input echo" button, then that is the way to monitor what you're recording. The delay (called "latency") you hear is due to the poor soundcard drivers.

    The problem is that the mic is a soundcard, and its clock often conflicts with the one of your integrated soundchip. Getting a USB-audio interface and a normal mic makes your life easier.
