newbie, howto transfer music creator 5 wavs to audio CD?

Hi,
my problem is similar to Mcourter's problem. I have a stereo wav track in the audio folder, and want to burn it with WMP to a R-CD. Funny thing is WMP plays the track from the hard drive, but refuses to burn it, says "wrong format". Pls help.
D.

    It may because it's not a 16bit 44.1k wav file.

    When you set up the way Cake saves files, you should select 16/44.1 and always export the files or project (mixed down) as a wave file.

    You can burn a wave.

    THX 2 everyone, it worked. The bug was the driver assignement. I had set everything to 44.1.k/16bit already.

    You should start a new post instead of hijacking this one...

    At any rate:
    Try something like this:
    http://www.vinyl2usb.com/?tid=B07

    Or use the Line in ( of your sound card) from the Aux Outs of an existing stereo amp.  Do Not use speaker outs, that could cause damage to your sound card inputs by over driving them.

    There are MANY software packages that will save the file (Typically as a WAV file).
    I have used this:
    [link=http://www.diamondcut.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1&products_id=31&zenid=50f0b82809a03159c7a7f4ed44982421]http://www.diamondcut.com...a03159c7a7f4ed44982421[/link]

    It is specifically for recording vinyl to computer.  It does assume that you know how to hook up the system to get the sound in.  It includes many settings to remove the clicks and pops of vinyl.
