I like a strong but plodding drum track ala Simon Kirke. If you are using the AJ pack how do you think it would fit for making drum tracks similar to Kirke's style?

I'd LOVE to have that particular pack. Also wouldn't mind one from Rick Allen.

I use the AJ expansion pack for BFD2, but not SD3. I have SD3, but not sure if the BFD2 pack would work for it. Haven't tried. Even through BFD2's VSTi interface, the AJ drums sound awesome! So far, best I've heard...or used.

Agreed,  I just got the AJ kit for SD3 and it is gorgeous.  It is definitely the best kit I have now - and if the SD3 kit is not compatible with Kontact or BFD or ezDrummer I would buy the versions that are - for all of them.

Thanks for the reply. It should be good since Andy Johns is known for his ability to get good drum sounds making do with whatever room he has to work with (at least that is my take from what I have read and heard from him)... then having Bonham playing may have helped his reputation too, laff.

For the price, I may jump on the set for SD3. I also have Mick Fleetwood's set from Acid/Sony. They are good but different. IMO, Fleetwood/Mcvie were/are one of the most solid rhythm sections blues rock as ever seen. Sort of the way Kirke, Kossoff, and Fraser nailed everything so well. I like this clip. It is Free doing All Right Now. Most people don't ntice that the bass does not come in until the first chorus. Man these gys were good.

I'm betting I can build drum tracks that can maybe be in the same ballpark with the Andy Johns drums. Then I have to do the hard part, try to pull off a Kossoff.

This one is a better example of the drum and guitar inter play I like http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s0UK-BR8_RM&feature=related

    Thanks again!
