Edirol FA-66: some sort of setup program for latency or... er...

I am installing all my musicsoftware on a new pc and also my Edirol FA-66. Now I seem to remember there was some sort of little utility that you should or could use to setup the right timings or latency or whatever for that Edirol FA-66... but it's just a notion I have and I completely forgot if it is true, what it was, where it is, etc.

Am I making things up or is there some sort of little utility for the FA-66...?

Sonar 8.5 PE, Edirol FA-66, Behringer C-1. All instruments in my songs are VSTi's.

You should be able to adjust those settings in the recording software you are using. There may also be an Ederol A-66 utility in your Control Panel where you can adjust the buffer size.

    As a general rule,

Smaller Buffer size = smaller latency, less stable
Larger Buffer size = more latency, more stable.

Ah, that's it: the control panel. But... where is it in Windows 7? I am going nuts trying to find it!!!! :(

    It looks like this:
