Can i link 2 x VS100`s?

I don't know the answer to that, but I do have a question.
Do you already have two VS-100's, or are you thinking about adding another?

For the same price as a 2nd VS-100, you could get the Octa Capture. That is suppose to play really nice with a VS-100 (driver sharing), and will add 8 more High Quality mic pre's. I understand the pre's & converters on the Octa Capture are the same as the ones used in the VS-700 which is a slightly higher quality than the VS-100.

Another alternative is the Quad Capture. It will give you 2 more mic pre's and is less than 50% the cost of the Octa Capture.

Of course, if you already have 2 VS-100's, it would never hurt to try

I once used a V-studio 100 and a Zoom H4N to record bass and drums (guitars and vocals were over-dubbed later, but that's not the point). The two condensers onboard the h4n were the over-heads, I had an D112 at the kick beater and an LDC a few feet out in front of the kick, both of those were plugged into the H4N's xlr ins. The snare mic and bass guitar were plugged into the VS-100.

After importing the files from both SD cards into Sonar, I was able to sync the tracks visually by lining up count-in clicks the drummer and bass player did simultaneously. All the mics picked up the stick clicks, so i just nudged the snare track into position and did the same to the direct bass track while viewing the count-in he played sync'ed to the drummer's clicks.

You can do a similar thing with your third mic, just visually align them. A hand clap or a knock on the table at the beginning of the recording would be ideal for visually sync'ing, but may not be necessary if the third mic is picking up some of what one of the other two is picking up, you can sync them in Sonar using that as a visual.
