Ok so this is my update to my issue:

After trying SONAR X1 in WXP and looking for a real solution, found that WXP is not much help and W7 is not that bad. Although my pops and clicks noise it's not related with M-AUDIO, i believe that drivers available for my interface are not 100% accurate nor effective.

So uninstall the dual boot from my laptop, and came back install SONAR X1 in W7 in a external HD. On my first attempt my settings were 256 on I/O cache and 256 for latency, and had so noise with it. Then went to 64 and 32 on cache and had dropouts, so went to 128 but on playback if i do so screen switch i get dropouts, so went back to 256 on cache. The 256 latency give me troubles to so had to go to 512.

As I've learned drivers are the main source on problem, so went a turned off: Video WebCam, HDAUDIO Soft Data Fax Modem with SmartCP, Generic PnP Monitor, Atheros AR5B93 Wireless Network Adapter, Broadcom NetLink Gigabit Ethernet, Intel Display Audio, Realtek High Definition Audio. The playback of Cori Yarckin Demo Project, which i found it is a good test for teh general settings, went good.I haven't record yet, but guess according to the heavy playback test, it will just fine.

Although it seems to be working good now, i feel that system it is still on the edge (no proof of that), but for my general use will be more than enough, i doubt i could handle video (my guess), anyhow i can call a pseudo victory here, but because of the annoying process of enable and unable drivers all the time, it makes it a not so friendly process to work with. Would be great if i could make this special button to enable my SONAR X1 settings in one move.

Anyways, i think i'll be good for a while. Thank you all for the help and suggestions.
