    I like it.  Sounds really good - great vocals.  I like the effect you have on the guitar at the beginning.

    I listened to your song, and it wasn't bad? The drums felt a little "plastic?" They feel like they need to be more "leather?" 

    The over all feel of the song reminded me of the Greg Kihn band, "The break up song"

    Benzo,

    Cool song.   Singing is very nice.  Guitar lines are catchy.  I like the arrangment too but i think it's weak in the lower mid range (EQ).  Maybe some more bass or perhaps more meat in one of the guitars?

    Yea no how i've been messing with the mids and the bass trying to bring the vocals thicker and more forward..thk u for the compliments guys

    Dan, I really like this song, but (IMO) the mix is not doing you or the song justice. 

    Like Geno (Guitartrek) I really like that figure you're playing.  It just works so well against the track.  But when the guitar comes in on the chorus it feels very toppy, and does not seem to be driving that section the way it should.  The bass volume is up, but it too feels like it could push the chorus along some more.

    The vocals are well sung.  It's obvious that you've got the goods to deliver it vocally, but somehow they don't sound (in the mix) as well as they should, and I'm afraid I can't really point to one specific thing (other than some harmony in the chorus would be great) and say that could make it better.  What mic are you using is one question that comes to mind.

    I think all the pieces are there for this to be an outstanding tune, and it just needs the right mix and production touches.

    Very nice song.  Well played and sung.  Now for the mastering, it sounds very compressed and the song losses a lot of dynamics.  I would EQ the voice cut some of the low end to reduce some muddinies, boominess.  But don't do it too much.  Could use a drums kit with more organic sound, but it is your preference.

    Yeah, I agree. Not a bad tune at all, has a certain charm but the mix is pretty bad. Not trying to be mean, just from a purely sonic fidelity viewpoint there are a lot of problems here. I'm curious how the raw tracks sound, it might just be a case of being eq'd and squashed to death.

    All is not lost though, you've won half the battle with writing an interesting tune.
