request for assistance, first post
[size=3 font="times new roman"]Help required…desperately!
[size=3 font="times new roman"]I have been using X1 since upgrading from 8.5 in December and currently have Build 255 installed. All was working well until two days ago when X1 gave me the BSOD when I loaded files with more than four or five audio tracks. After reinstalling Windows, X1 and all of my plug ins as well as installing J-Bridge, I can load some of these projects but still see the BSOD if I try to play the project, change screensets or change parameters in Preferences. I am out of ideas as to how to make X1 healthy and whole again.
I have six months of work in the balance here.

Is it feasible to try the 32-bit version of SONAR? Just for comparison.
Did you apply any updated drivers for the Lynx hardware?
How about SAFE mode? Can you open and play the projects in SAFE mode?

Thanks for the suggestions. The Lynx driver is the most current available.
I will try 32 bit and see, I will also try safe mode.

BSOD is almost always a hardware/driver problem at its core. If not interface drivers, I would look at other drivers that might have been updated recently. MS update pushed a couple of Nvidia driver updates recently. I had no trouble with them, but I recall another poster saying they had a problem until they backed it out.
Failing or over-loaded power supply, RAM, HDD or bad power/data connections to any of these could also cause a BSOD.

I just had the same problems and it was 2 failing memory sticks, I would test the memory before doing anything else.
