Wow oh wow!

It seems as if I'll be recording Fabolous in my studio tomorrow! He's over here doing a show with 50cent, and I just got off the phone from his manager, and he wants to record, and I'm the lucky one! I hope I'm allowed to take some video footage, but I doubt it. I also hope it actually happens, because his manager did say that we can book it in, but at the end of the day, he does what he wants, when he wants!

Anyone know how big a typical 'possy' is for one of these guys?! I only ask because I've been asked to organise a van to transport him and his crew to my studio, which makes me wonder how many are coming?! My control room is spatially challenged...

Well this is pretty exciting for a little studio tucked away in the most isolated city in the world. Come on X1, don't fail me now!

By the way, his manager/agent whoever she was, was calling me from New York - it was 2am over there! Now that is some dedicated staff!

I'll have three fingers of Glenlivet, with a little bit of pepper... and some cheese.

I'm excited for you, too, despite not having a clue who this Fabolous guy is. No relation to Fabio, I presume.

I'd send a limo and bill them for it. If it won't accommodate all the hangers-on, then screw 'em, they can find their own way there. They're just gonna eat your snacks (in the control room!) and be a general nuisance anyway.

All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.

Well unfortunately it doesn't look like it's going to happen :-( If he was going to come, it would have been today, and it's getting kind of late now (just gone 10pm). Probably too cold and wet for him to leave his hotel room.

Oh well, I guess I can still make a banner for my website...MULTI-PLATINUM SELLING ARTIST, FABOLOUS, THOUGHT ABOUT RECORDING HERE.

At least now i have the phone numbers and email addresses of his managers/agents. I can start flooding their inboxes with my music and it won't be entirely unsolicited!

I do, however, have a Martin D35 arriving tomorrow to cheer me up, so I'll survive!

I'll have three fingers of Glenlivet, with a little bit of pepper... and some cheese.
