X1 slow performance

I migrated from Sonar 7 studio to Sonar x1 recently ....when I select small audio clips and convert it to stereo or mono....it used to work real quick in a sec or 2. ...now i see a slow progress bar at the top to do the same....is there some setting which is actually making this conversion slow....these are really short takes (4 to 5 bars) .

This should fix it although it may be redundant now X1c is out
