Meant To Be REMIX - submitted for your review

Hi Everyone,
Thanks to all of your constructive criticisms, I took another stab at this song. Really reworked the vocals, balanced the drums and hopefully came away with a more balanced mix. I'm still experimenting with 2nd verse guitar fills, but wanted your opinion of things thus-far. I had to post as 128 bit MP3, so the sound quality is far inferior to the WAV, but good enough for general impressions.

    The beginning made me think of that "Lonesome Loser" LRB tune.  It is a good classic pop song.

    The snare could use a high eq cut.
    I would drop the tambourine at the verses and only use it on the chorus.
    There is a buildup of 400hz (I think!) on the chorus vocals. Either do an eq cut of the bgvox or pan them more away from the center.
    The guitar lead has to come up.
    Overall the vocals sound pretty good and clear. 

    Send me a wav version of this and I will do a quick master job on it, which I think will fix some of these issues.

    Really like the tune.  Nice chorus and lyrics.  Great voice arrangement too!

    Thank you for all the good tech advice on this one James. I'm going to take a shot at remixing before I submit a WAV to you -and BTW thank you very much for the generous offer!
