A Song for the Rains

It is late monsoon here in India and I am posting a song on the rains. The song is in two languages - Hindi and Marathi and a mixture of Indian Pop and Thumri, a semi-classical style based on North Indian Classical Music. The male voice sings in Hindi and the female voice is singing in Marathi. There are a lot of love songs in India where Love is essentially a spiritual path. The heroine in this song pines for her lover in this song and the song essentially conveys one meaning - "THE RAINS ARE HERE, BUT YOU AREN'T..." I hope you enjoy this song and I am looking forward to your feedback. The song has been composed, recorded, mixed by me on SONAR X1 and has been written by Ashok Bagwe. Other Credits:

That was amazing. On a technical level, the vocals were incredibly in tune and slid between notes with extremely beautiful and liquid phrasing. If I have any criticism it is that I would have liked to have heard the instruments louder in relation to the vocals.

@Malcolm - Thanks so much. Actually there was some problem with the uploading of the track. I mistakenly uploaded a version that was faded out early. The end of the song is not as abrupt as this!

@ Chappel - You are right. The vocals ARE a tad louder. Actually, this sort of lyrical music in India tends to be vocal-centric and hence the issue.
