Can someone confirm Browser/plugin layout persist issue in X1C

Here is my situation.

I installed on a clean Windows 7 64 bit system: Sonar X1, then Sonar X1a, then Sonar X1b, then quickfix 255, and finally Sonar X1C. No mods. No messing with files.. etc.

This is what is happening:

I created two plugin layout files. One for my audio fx, and one for instruments.

I go to the browser, Select my layout file in the drop down menu for audio fx, then select my layout file in the drop down for instruments.. So both layout files are selected and the contents of each layout in the browser are correct..

So now
1. I create or open an existing project
2. Go to the browser
3. Go to the plugins tab (already selected in my case based on previous browser usage)
4. audio fx is selected by default in my case
5. Just to check I click on the browser-->plugins tab drop down menu and see that my custom audio fx layout file is indeed checked
6. Then I switch to instruments, The weird thing is that while it is displaying the contents of my custom instruments layout file in the browser, if I click the drop down menu in the plugins tab it shows "Default All plugins" as being selected
7. Now I switch back to audio fx (Everything is still good.. It shows my custom layout file contents and I can see that my custom audio fx layout file is selected in the browser-->plugins drop down menu
8. If I switch back one more time to instruments, this time both my contents and the selected layout file are now "Default All Plugins"
9. Finally, If I select my custom file again and switch back and forth between instruments and audio fx at this point, it will remain consistent until I open or create a new project.

In summary: No matter what, when I create or open a project and switch back and forth a couple times between instruments, audio fx, or rewire, audio fx, etc.. One of my layout file selections will be reset back to "Default All plugins"

I submitted this to Cakewalk but they say they were unable to reproduce it and asked if I had Sonar plus installed, which I don't and never have..

A confirmation would be great (only those who do not use mods, just to be certain that the mod isn't affecting it)

Great recipe you have there! When I follow it step by step, it is doing the exact same thing you are noticing.

I don't normally use the "Plugin > Instrument" tab so I never noticed it. I usually click on the "synth rack" and insert from there, or insert them straight from the bin. That doesn't make it right - it's just my way of working

That seems like a bug to me, and is something I can easily re-produce.

EDIT: Guess I should add, I don't use any mods and I am updated to X1c. The rest of my specs are in my sig.

    Thanks Codamedia. Good to know.

Anyone else: Feel free to test this out and report here. While this is not a huge bug, it'd be nice to have it at least verified by the devs.
