8.5, Eastwest VST library Windows7 Problem - Anyone?



 
I am having a problem running Sonar 8.5 (and also 8 studio version) in Windows 7 64bit Professional with Eastwest library 64bit VST’s. I’m getting a message  in Sonar 8.5 “That product does not exist productld-1” and when clicked “ Some of the play components are missing. Please check you installation”.
 
Please note that on my other Vista computer  Sonar 8 and Eastwest vst’s run OK.
 
Eastwest help desk cannot provide a solution and V.I. Control suggested going to this site.
 
Clearly it may not be a Sonar problem but I want to check to see if anybody is running 8.5, Eastwest libraries in VST in Windows 7 64bit Professional successfully?

    All is well. I have solved the problem. Details are at V. I. Control samples Forum in case anyone is looking for a solution to the same problem.
    It was NOT Sonar 8.5 but some confusion that required a re-load of Windows 7.!

    Hi,
     
    I just bought and loaded up the EW Symphonic Platinum edition and man... thats a lot of dvds to download.  When I got done authorizing the ilok and whatnot I was nervous in powering up the sonar 8.5, but the only hitch I had was the time it took for the plug-in manager to find the plugin.  Other than that, its all running smoothly (so far), and the samples in the set are simply stunning!   I can't wait to order the Hollywood Strings set next week :)

    Hey Frank,

    Where is the V.I. controls sample forum? Is that inside this cakewalk forum?
