How do you reset the EQ in ProChannel???
I've never seen an EQ without a reset option. What if you want to reset the EQ and start EQing again from scratch? Am I blind, I looked everywhere but I can't find the reset option!

You need to get out with your mouse more....double click on any part of EQ grid pane and the line goes flat.

Well, there is a Preset named Misc-Full Reset. I wish for a button reset myself, hopefully they will update so in the future.

Yeah, there should be a rest button for each module of the Pro Channel ... there's plenty of room for it.

Middleman You need to get out with your mouse more....double click on any part of EQ grid pane and the line goes flat. I don't blame you for reacting that way, I probably would've too if I were in your shoes. But I tried that--in fact, that was one of the first things I tried--and it does not work. I should've mentioned that I am running the trial version, and perhaps its a problem with the trial? If I double click on the EQ grid pane, nothing happens. When I single click, it just disables whichever of the four bands my cursor is currently in (LF, LMF, HMF, HF) but I do not get a reset when I double click. Any ideas anyone?

but I do not get a reset when I double click. The only way to reset by double click is on the individual control itself. It seems the only way to reset the PC is by saving a neutral PC as a preset "Reset" or whatever and then loading it back in. This however will only work for the whole PC not just the EQ section. It seems you're stuck with double clicking each control. Seems like that may have been a bit of an oversight. Feature request going in.

I put in for a "screenset manager" type thing where you can load & save them individually to a library. Global in the sense that change one in a project changes the equivalent in all others probably wouldn't work. Imagine hiding a couple of tracks in a project and then later opening a different project to find those tracks are now hidden. Great if that's what you intended not so good if you didn't I think that'd annoy me more than help. If you want just them available in all new projects set them up how you want them and save them to your preferred template. That works. Biggest pain I find is when I want to import into older projects. I like to have the "only one project open at a time" option selected and of course to import them I need two open so it's preferences - change the setting - load 2nd project - load screensets - close 2nd project - preferences - change the sedtting. Much simpler IMHO to have some sort of library and manager for not only individual SS but banks of them. In fact while Cakewalk are at it add another 10 per project. Now that sounds like heaven to me.

Like I mentioned above, double clicking on each EQ band--or double clicking ANYWHERE in the EQ for that matter--does not reset the EQ. Double clicking in the band only enables/disables that band, but the EQ is not reset. Note that I'm only trying to reset teh EQ of the ProChannel, not the entire ProChannel.

What he means is if you double click an EQ gain knob, it will return to 0dB. So double clicking all four will give you a flat EQ, effectively reset. You can also re-set the Q and Freq knobs back to their default values by double clicking them.

Hmm... I seem to recall it having always been this way, and I gather the trial version's codebase is basically X1b, so that would be an odd one. But yeah, maybe.

It may be you've reset the controls snap to point. Double clicking on a control snaps the control to its snap to point, which unless you change it is usually 0dB. Change the snap to point by setting the control to your desired snap value and then right clicki and select Value->Snap to = current. I'm fairly certain although not 100% sure that I'd have noticed a bug like that because I use that to reset stuff all the time.

I will definitely check that to see if that's what has been causing me problems. I'm at work now but I'll take a look as soon as I get home. I'm gonna post up a thread here in a bit anywas to see if some of the things I've been experiencing with this trial version is a bug that's been fixed in the latest full paid versions or not...

Unless I'm mistaken, dbl-click on the grid toggles the enable button on/off... Not reset... Keni [edit] ... That's actually a single click (I see you and others have mentioned this) ...and dbl-clicking on any/all of the knobs does reset them zero (it's working fine here)[end edit]
