Another concert stage collapse

Just saw on TV another concert stage collapsed in a storm, this time in Belgium. Sadly, 5 people are dead. A number of American acts were scheduled to play, Foo Fighters amongst them.

I have to wonder what or who's to blame here:
people not paying attention to the weather
whoever is building these things not building them strong enough
or maybe something else?

I think this is going to put a damper on outdoor concerts for quite a while. Then again, with getting into state fair season what's going to happen?

oh man, what a tragedy!  surely there's got to be some root cause of this problem that's being overlooked.  people's lives should not be in jeapordy over a poorly inspected/designed/constructed/(something) stage.

One ride on a sail boat ought to convince people that putting up a sail on land is going to break the mast.

At least that's what I always mutter when crew starts putting up the tents.
