It looks like DM Pro may not be finding that "moog" file. Have you tried looking for it in case the name of the file got corrupted? Have you tried reinstalling DM Pro? Good luck, Jan

From program files 86 the dll file shows version 1.2 . From Sonar it says 1.5.

Vintage Sound Library, Digital Sound Factory Classic Keys, And Digital Sound Factory E-MU Proteus Examples are not loaded. I used them before but that's been a while. How do I go about re-installing them?

I think you should spell out what you did to make this happen, (since it was working before).
Is this a new install of something? If it is, of what, in what order, etc etc.

I upgraded to X-1 a,b ,c I remember playing with it but not for a while. I also remember I had to use DP as administrator.

It asked me to download the 1.5 updater which i did. When I tried to re-install 1.5 I got the same message. What did I do wrong?

Bill, where did you install the samples/programs?
Have a look in the default location and see if they've installed here: Computer > OS(C:) > Program Files (x86) > Cakewalk > Dimension Pro > Programs

I had problems almost identical to this when I went to the 64-bit flavor of DimPro. First, it said I didn't have a valid install and then couldn't find multisamples. Freakin' pain in the tochis it was. The workaround I used with success was: Completely uninstall DimPro - and run a registry cleaner afterward to make sure the system "forgets" the previous install. Then, install the DimPro that came along with X1. I don't know why it should make a difference, but on my system it was what made everybody happy. This cured the "invalid install" issue. As to the missing programs/samples and such: I duplicated anything relating to multisamples or programs so that everything was the same on both sides (Program Files AND Program Files x86). For some reason, Dim Pro was wanting to find some programs on one side and other on the other. Makes no sense, but it works now!  Once you're back into X1 and running DimPro, if something's missing from the program browser, use F5 to refresh the view. Sometimes, the registry key needs to be flushed out and re-written. Hope this helps - I am away from my music machine, so I'm working completely from memory here... if something doesn't work, give me a holler and I'll see what I can do. Cheers.

Russell - that's exactly my problem and it is a pain. I haven't tried to use DP i my recordings till yesterday. Thank you for the post!
