Help w/Previewing Midi Grooves in Media Browser

I'm kind of new to building music with loops, but I get most of the basic concepts. That said, I'm at a loss when it comes to choosing a synth & patch to preview the included midi library files in Media Browser. I'm kind of assuming that each file was created with a specific synth/patch in mind, but I have no idea what it might be. I understand the value of experimenting, but if I'm trying to audition, say, an African drum beat, I probably don't want to hear piano sounds. I'd at least like to hear what the file was meant to sound like as a starting point. This is especially true when the file involves more than one instrument, ie kits... Is there any clue in file/folder names as to what the preview device/patch/program/multisample ought to be? Any help on this would be much appreciated!

Try this. In the Media Browser, click the + sign to the left of the Red X at the top right corner. Then Insert the Cakewalk TTS-1 soft synth. For the synth properties select Midi Source and First Synth Audio Output. Click OK to close the properties. In the new Midi track, select any channel. Then change the bank to preset rhythm. Change the patch to whatever drum kit you want to use to preview drum groove clips. Make sure that Midi track is selected whenever you want to preview groove clips. If you want to preview anything other than drums, change the bank and patch to the appropriate instrument.
