Got a problem with VSTs with no sound

Hi, I got a frustrating problem here. Alright Here it is, I plug in my Cakewalk UA-25 EX computer interface. I make the UA-25 the default sound driver. I plug in my M-Audio Keyrig 49 Midi Keyboard. I open up Sonar X1 and I start a new file, normal setting. I then insert Dimension Pro. I make sure that The Key rig is set up so that it's the input. I tap the key in roughly the middle (because it's most likely to sound a note) But no sound comes. The VST meter shows the signal. But no sound. Also I use headphones plugged into the UA-25. I also see that the master track/bus shows no signal when I tap. The settings I have now are: 1. Audio Input none (I'm not using that track at the moment). 2. MIDI Input Keyrig Omni Channel. output - UA-25 EX. 3. Dimension Pro 1 Primary Output: Stereo - input Dimension Pro 1 Primary Output: Stereo output - Master. 4. Dimension Pro 1 Track input Keyrig (Omni Channel) - output UA-25 EX. Now with these settings There is no sound at all. Now if I Change the MIDI output to Microsoft synth there is sound (though that's purely MIDI). If I play music through the UA-25 from itunes for example There is sound. So I know it's not the interface. I have spent a couple of days trying to figure this out, but to no success. So I ask anyone: What do I do? What am I missing?

I take it you're using Firefox 6 LOL

    Anyway

    Check the following

The MIDI track out should be set to the Dimension pro
There should be an audio track that has it's input as Dimendion Pro's Stereo Out
That audio track then either needs to go to your master buss or to the UA-25 directly
If it goes to your master buss make sure that your master buss goes to your UA-25.

That's where you need to be as a starting point. Reading what you've wrote above I believe your MIDI track OUT is where the issue is.

Well I tried what you said but still no sound. For the midi track (2) The Input is set to the keyrig and the output set to dimension pro. Track 3 (dimension pro primary output)input is set to Dimension pro primary output. The output is set to stereo UA 25 out. And right next to that the Master bus is set to UA 25 out. For track 4 (dimension pro) the input is set to the keyrig. The output is set to UA 25 out. Is this what you were meaning? If it is it still doesn't work.

try reseting the midi engine in the chuckewalk..also this midi engine is so tricky with me..it doesnt work so i hit the play button..then it works..try that..sometimes by simply starting playback it does something to it.i know i sound like a mad scientist..but dont we have to be to use x1?
