I like the feedback.

I'm having fun with my Tascam 6 track recorder and even working it a bit.

So, I bought the simpler Tascam DR-05 that is basically a 2 track 24 bit dictaphone. I got it for its convenience more than anything else.

After recording a couple songs of acoustic guitar and singing I hooked it up to the entertainment center with the line out. It is patched to playback thru 2 Auratones.

I was surprised how good the playback sounded.

And then I just had to do it... I thought, "I wonder if it auto mutes the output when I hit record." ;-)

It doesn't.

I wonder if I'll remember or if I'll just do it again next week?

You did.  I remember you commenting on next week's test last week.

Does the coffee taste unusually strong to you next last month?

I have a Tascam DR-07 that I use a lot! It's a must have for me and has paid huge dividends when learning songs and recording live! I don't know how I got along without it.

That is the extent of my guitar playing repertoire.

Maybe I should develop it further.

    I love feedback.

I love just walking around the house screaming my vocal imitation of feedback.  It may be one of the reasons I'm not usually welcome indoors.

One of my custom guitars came originally with a Fernandes Sustainer (for exactly the same reasons that Guitarhacker mentions above - just at bedroom levels), but it just sucked beyond belief.  Then I find that their Customer Service is second-to-last to none...  I finally replaced it to get some other hardware I wanted in there, and discovered that Fernandes only sells an old, licensed version of the Sustainiac and that THEIR customer service is absolutely top-notch!  So, needless to say, when I can finally afford it, I'm going to get this version of their Sustainiac that you can clip to the headstock of ANY guitar!  Can't wait actually...  I just love playing with notes (see lengthy discussion about trems in another thread).

Time for all of you to head over to Beyond My DAW!
