Problems post X1c upgrade

I installed the X1c upgrade on Thursday and Sonar has been very unstable since then.

Here are the problems I've experienced so far:
Guitar Rig 4 causes Sonar to freeze and crash. Can no longer audition presets in real time without system becoming unstable and crashing
The V Clips window no longer displays any audio data when I convert a clip to a V Clip.
The Vintage Amp VST plugin is no longer available... (or did I lose this plugin when I upgraded to X1?)

Unfortunately, these problems adversely affect all my current projects. Sonar crashes within minutes of launching and when I begin to work in a project.

Any fixes?
Advice?
Can I roll back to X1b?

My system is Windows XP
Dell Inspiron 9300
2 GB of RAM

Thanks!

You may want to call cake's technical support.

This is a fairly old laptop that probably most daw software would push to its' limits fairly quickly. Not sure how x1c versus x1b is affecting this, but I would start with optimizing this laptop. I am grateful to have a strong pc built by studio cat a couple of years ago, and everything Sonar just works. Are you using the onboard soundcard or do you have something else for you projects? Long story short, it is my guess that you may be underpowered for this level of software. I hope that is not the case. I struggled with a 1.8 cpu for years and limped to the finish line on sonar powered projects. But that was with a desktop that had a faster harddrive than what comes with most laptops.

It's possible, but I'm used to working on this laptop bouncing, archiving, freezing, etc. Sonar was working great until the upgrade on Thursday.

My desktops at home are better configured with more RAM, but I'm in a remote location for a project and all I've got to work with is my trusted laptop using a MOTU Ultralite as the audio interface/live mixer.

Maybe tech support is the best route if no one is experiencing similar problems.

Another problem I'm encountering is that during bounce down the new track created is much hotter (higher decibel level) than what was in the mix. I've looked for everything (settings, effects, gain, etc.) that could be causing the amplification on bounce-down with no luck. Finally had to resort to a limiter, but it makes no sense and I've never encountered this issue before.

The same for me. Since I have been upgrading to X1c , everything is unstable. Crashes with Rapture, that's not strange, but with Dim Pro, and z3ta+ too ! I was on Vista x64, with EMU-0404. Then yesterday I decided to try on W Seven (Cakewalk so proud to have Sonar proofed for 7) on a big config (i2600K, SSD, 8Go RAM, GTX580 and Creative SB X-Fi). It crashes exactly the same ! And every time it crashes, all is lost because the automatic save file is corrupted. I guess many crashes occur while automatic saving, BUT NOW, I AM FED UP ! I cannot work this way ! I will revert to 8.5 where everything was easy and stable, what will I miss ? Not much, and I will be able to work again.

    SONAR Platinum, Win7 Pro64, i7 2600k, 8Go, DUO-CAPTURE EX Roland / E-MU 0404, JABB3, EmulatorX3, E-MU MIDI X-Board 49, MIDI guitar Godin Nylon, Axon AX-50, Studio Projects TB1, Roland GR-55, dual screen 24, GTX970".(jac-art.com)

Well this thread certainly sounds negative.
