Middle click on scroll wheel = Better workflow.

Just thought I'd let you all know about a wee trick I just discovered, that should make workflow a little quiker.

If you have a mouse with a scroll click function, and you have options for said middle botton in your control panel/ mouse. Then you can set it for sonar.exe as the HUD using the keystroke command t. Without effecting it's operation in any other program.

Meaning that you don't have to go back and forth between the keyboard and mouse when changing tools.

Hope that makes sense,

Actually, that feature is built-in to SONAR X1. You don't need to set up anything special. It will work with any mouse that has a wheel that can be pressed.

Freex, Thank you so much for your offering. Even though it is standard in X1, I had my middle button bound to the back a page button on browsers and I never got a chance to realize this incredibly easier way to gain access to my most dreaded task in x1, GETTING TO THE ENVELOPES. So I must let you know your effort to make someones life a little easier has been a great success. Thank you,and God bless you!!! On one more note In case anyone has not found out that once you are in the envelope editing mode, you can shift click the clip to get back to normal selection mode

Strange you say that, coz it doesn't work for me unless I do as stated above, and I can't find it mentioned in the manual / help anywhere!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just realise I was with frankjcc and had mine set to back.
But either way it work, and maybe someone else will be in the same boat as we were.

Yep, that's true. I didn't think about some people who may have it programmed differently. It's definitely a nice SONAR feature.

    Best,
