A couple of X1 annoyances

 
X1 (b and c 32bit or 64 bit)  running win 7. 
 
1)
I have several outputs that I change on the master to route it to monitors, head phones, Surround sound etc.  X1 will not save what I set this to.  It always defaults back to the channel I have for my monitors.  If I save it with some of the other outs it will sometimes randomly pick another output.
 
2)
In the track view, I used the track control manager to create a custom preset to remove all the controls from the track strip except - MSR, Track state, and Edit filter.  (trying to slim down the track view)
 
Now if I insert a new track or clone another one, when the new track appears it shows the controls I picked Plus the sends (In the track strip).  I have to pick the preset out to get the sends to disappear. 
 
3)
I also have the issue that others have reported that some inputs/outputs are not compatable and you get the choice to use them or disable - highly annoying
