Okay, RH, do you have your songs on different tracks or all on the same track?
If they're all on the same track, use the Split tool (looks like a pair of scissors) to split the long, long track into seperate clips within that track.
Once all the songs are segregated, drag them down to new tracks, each song on it's own track. Drag them to the beginning. Play the tracks to ensure none are clipping; lower the volume of a track so it doesn't clip.
I have a folder on my desktop caled audio files that I export any tracks I want to burn to CD to.
Click a track number until the clip in the track turns black, indicating it is selected.
Go to File>Export Audio and the Export dialog pops up with a lot of options. What You Hear is a preset that should work for you. If you plan on burning these songs to CD, use 44,100 Hz @ 16-bit.
Select a destination. In my case that is the Audio Files folder on my desktop.
Click OK and the file will be copied to your destination folder from which you can burn the song(s) to CD.
If you want to fade in or fade out a clip, hover the cursor over the upper right or left corner until the cursor becomes a triangle. Drag that triangle and it will insert a volume envelope, highlighted in gray.
It's also possible to edit out any pops and clicks in the file from the LP, but that's a long, tedious process. I believe there is software that claims to be able to do that automatically, but SONAR can't.
