I Think We Just Had A Small tremor
Sitting here on break time at my work computer and the whole building started to shake. It was very discrete but I could feel the building moving slightly. I went outside while it was happening. There was almost no one else in the building when it happened. I didn't notice the shaking any more and I called a co-worker in another building who was on a roof 5 floors up at the time and he said he felt nothing, although he was about two miles away. He did say that another guy on a lower floor who was on a ladder noticed shaking, so I must not be crazy.
This building is concrete and it was a little scary being in it while that was happening. I am on the east coast and the last time I remember any kind of land tremor was about 15 years ago and it only lasted for a few seconds and was very minor.
They were boring geothermal holes about a mile away but that was months ago. Secret underground tunneling operation maybe? A few tectonic plates shifting? Weird.

I had just set down and I thought I was having a bit of a dizzy spell.... then I realized it wasn't me, the house was moving like it was on a lake. I could also hear the low freq rumble. It lasted a few seconds..... maybe 5 or so....
My daughter is in Lynchburg at college, and the epicenter is estimated to be between Charlottesville to DC... an hour or two north.
Actually my mom and sister live the next town over from Charlottesville.

My wife called and said she heard the epicenter was in Virginia.She was driving when it happened,stopped at a light. She said that it felt like a 500 pound person was getting into the car....... and I was nowhere in sight.....ok she actually only said the first part before the dots.

We got it in up in Hamilton, Ontario. That would be Canada. Lasted about 15 seconds.

I was outside putting my lunchbox in the car and when I came back in, my brother asked if I felt it. I didn't, but he did in the house.
Turned on CNN and there were news flashes about it. Didn't linger; I had to go to work.
