Hello from Donald Fagen and Walter Becker
Saw them Sunday Night in Orange Beach Alabama. Man!!! 13-14 people in band. 3 backup singers. 4 horns. Bass. 2 Guitars. Keys. Drums. Fagen on Rhodes. It was so unbelievably polished. No instrument stood out too much. Tighter than Rosie O'Donnell fitting into a size 4 bathing suit. I have never been to a concert that sounded as well produced as a great studio album. SD was always known for their polish in the studio. These guys sound better live than they ever did on record. And Fagen appears to be channeling the spirit of Ray Charles. THis is a u tub from a few years back, but comparable to the current tour. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BZbUaxsB3WQ&feature=related

Some people call me Maurice SPLAT Pro lifetime, ADK 6 core 3.6Ghz with 32 GB RAM, SSD 1TB system drive, 3 3TB regular drives for samples, recordings and misc. Behringer X Touch, UAD Apollo Quad. 2 UAD2 Quads PCI (i think - inside the box whatever that is), Console 1. More guitars (40??) and synths (hard and soft) than talent. Zendrum!!!

Donald & Walter have been doing that since the late 90's. I've seen a couple of their tours and they're always briliant--even when they change the songs around. Glad you had a good time. I wish I could have seen them when they played out here. A little bad timing on that.
Should auld acquaintance be forgot--hey, who the hell are you guys? X2(X3 pending hardware upgrade), Emulator X2, E-mu 1212M, Virtual String Machine

Yup...Walter has just about the best gig in the world. Cushioned by the best backing band anywhere he can just noodle (very tastefully) away all night on his Sadowsky. Killer Diller.

I saw them last year and snagged a few pics from their front of house rack. Lovely bunch of Distressor's on horns and Jon Harrington's guitars. I think I remember drawmers on a lot of channels as well. I've seen them a few times now. Great to see the Standards of the Industry sounding so good.......Becker and Fagen I mean.

Seeing them on the Two Against Nature tour is a treasured memory for me. They came on at 8pm when half the audience was still outside the hall! Played for 3 hours, everything you ever wanted to hear them play. Absolutely incredible band.
