Does the Track Manager work for anyone???

I always have to make my choices to 2-3 times for it to take effect. Is there a magic word or something?

Do you mean you have to hit 'H' two/three times?

I corrected my message. See above. I make my choices and choose OK but they don't change until I do the process more than once.

On another post  I mentioned a bug with Track Manager which I've submitted to CW.
But working on a project tonight the darn thing went wrong in all sorts of ways, so I think it's broken and needs serious attention.  E.g. I unticked (to hide) a number of tracks in track view, opened console view, hit 'H', and all my hidden tracks in track view suddenly became unhidden!!  The tick box 'keep views in sync' and the syncing itself is all over the shop, so I'm not surprised you've got problems in the same area.

I'll see what CWs response is to my first bug report before writing up another mammoth one.

    vintagevibe,

I think I had an attack today of the bug you posted above.
Working on a project today I kept hearing a phasing 'doubling up' effect on a drum audio track and discovered it was due to the tracks I'd used to record the drum truck: a midi track and an Addictive Drums track, playing at the same time.  I'd hidden these so I un-hid them, hit 'M' to mute them, re-hid them (Ctrl-H) and then hit 'H' to bring up the track manager. Yep, they were hidden and had 'Muted' in brackets behind their descriptions there.  A few minutes later after doing something entirely different I got the same effect and bringing up track manager and un-hiding them I found they had unmuted themselves!  Not only that but some others had also done so!!  So I unhid and muted them all again.  This time it stuck (I think...)

I'm not going to submit another bug report as they've already ackowledged my other one (CWBRN-5830) as reproducible and if the programmers check this area they'll probably see this other flakiness as well.

I've had trouble with the track manager, as well. It sometimes doesn't respond at all regardless of how many times I try to make changes. Other times it responds well. Very inconsistent.

    All the best,
