Midi - beats in a clip is out of range?

How do you change the key in a midi clip?

I just imported some midi tracks off the web.
I need to change the key.

When I right click on the midi track to see CLIP PROPERTIES and go to AUDIO Stretching and attempt to click on ENABLE LOOPING so that i can get to the REFERENCE NOTE dialog box I get an ERROR.

THe ERROR says A VALUE of 322 for beats in a clip is out of range. (the valid range is 1-256).

The problem is where do I access beats in a clip so that I may lower the range?

You first asked how do you change the key but your attempting to alter the time. ??
To change the key or pitch highlight all but the drum track and go to the process dropdown menu look for transpose.
Under properties is a key change  option but that only effects playback from the soft synth and the notes will stay put on original key.

Right click the track (in the area with the track number and icon) and select track properties. Then use the + and - buttons where it says Key to change the key the track plays in. This will change how the track sounds but not change the Midi data.

Actually Chappel that will not transpose the notes in the editing views. It will only change the playback key of the soft synth. It gives the same results, but it more like using the transpose feature on a keyboard, You play a C note and it plays back as D. If you change it to +2.
But look in the piano view and the note is still showing as a C.
Process/Transpose will move the notes in all editing views. So +2 transpose will show that C as a D.
That little box is great to change a synth up or down an octave.

The OP wanted to know how to change the key of a Midi track. You mentioned a way to transpose the Midi data to accomplish that. I mentioned a way to change the playback key without changing the Midi data. What's the problem? Why are you assuming that the OP needs to change the actual notes rather than the key they play in? If that were the case why would the OP be trying to change the key by editing the properties? He almost had it right but was trying to change the clip properties instead of the track properties.
