dBlue Glitch with Sonar

Hey,

I've been struggling with a problem. I'd like to get to use Glitch from dBlue, but it won't work straight in Sonar. So the question is, does anyone know any workarounds to get it functioning?

Oh yeah, I'm running Sonar 8.5 and X1.

Sonar can only send MIDI to plug-ins it classifies as an "Instrument". You need to use plug-in manager and set "Configure as synth" for Glitch.
    • Insert Glitch as an effect to a audio track or bus. (Don't try and add it via the instrument 'rack' it won't work. Changing status to "instrument" is just Cake's lame way to receive MIDI).
    • Create a MIDI track and change the output to Glitch.
    • Route or "send" audio to audio track (or bus) with Glitch.
    • G...G...Gl..Gl..Gl..iiiiiiii..t...t.chchchchchhhhhhhhh
[Note to Cake: Update your crappy forum software!!! :S]

n0rd might be right....but my guess is that you need to set it as a "tempo based effect" (under those same setting he mentioned) so it will run with the transport.

I'm not sure it has any need to receive MIDI data.

One of these suggestions should do the trick (but as far as I know, only one of these options can be selected at a time).

Setting it as a tempo based effect did the job. Thanks guys!
