He is inspirational. Love his humour...

I saw this on TV the other night as my lovely wife & I were having a dinner date.

Glen Campbell was such a fine songwriter and a very underrated guitar player.  So sad to see his star fading in this way.

That's a great shame. Heard his new song the other day, it's excellent.

I was sorry to hear that, too.  The article said he and his family were using humor to keep him going.  My best wishes on delaying the simptoms.

As great a singer and songwriter as he as been, he is double that in guitar playing skills.

You really hate to see anyone suffer through this.  It's got to be one of the worst diseases ever.  Most other things will claim the body.  This one steals the mind.

I read a similar article in Rolling Stone about him.

Hmmmmmm..... using humor to get through a tough situation. Novel idea, no?

He's 75 ... still playing out and just cut an album ... and going on a world tour? He must not have it that bad. There's medicine now where if they catch it early enough, it can be held back for many years before you reach stage 2. Still sad to hear, but it sounds like it may be blown out of proportion a little, or they are downplaying it and it's worse than they are letting on.

His version of Wichita Lineman is still one of my favorite songs.

So none in ten did, right Bapu?

so sad to hear. what a guitar player. what a musicman. so close to the "gibson thread" i was surprised to not see any comments about his  'plastic" ovation. but, we were listening to what he was playing and how well he was playing (and singing) what it was he was playin (and singing).
