Hey, where'd my latency go!?

After the fresh install and X1C, my midi latency to external midi gear is pretty-much non-existent, even at 2048 buffer size. First time ever... Whatever you did Cake, don't change, OK?! :O)

MIDI to external gear shouldn't have any real latency. Its normal not to have any and abnormal to have some. One reason hardware is used so often.

I know, but mine always sucked quite badly at higher buffer sizes - even with the old humble soundcanvass via a MOTU Fastlane USB. Never could work it out... now it's great though.

Hehe... I've always enjoyed the punch of real sound modules. Don't know why, but they normally kick a bit more than their sampled versions IMO.
