Any way to link existing clips?

Couldn't find it in help or forum search.
Seems only available in new copy paste.
Thanks,
Fred

Don't think there is apart from the cop paste method.

Because linked clips are/must be identical, you can as well copy-paste the "clip 1" as a linked clip overwriting the existing "clip 2". It won't change the project.
I assume that would also be the problem linking clips afterwards - how do you define how the actions take place, if the starting point is different.

Grouping is the other way of approach to similar operations.

SONAR PE 8.5.3, Asus P5B, 2,4 Ghz Dual Core, 4 Gb RAM, GF 7300, EMU 1820, Bluetube Pre  -  Kontakt4, Ozone, Addictive Drums, PSP Mixpack2, Melda Creative Pack, Melodyne Plugin etc.

A linked pair is really just one clip, an illusory convenience. That's why you can't link two clips after the fact.

All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.

Maybe "Edit Groups" would work, though I don't know the problem for which the OP is looking for a solution.
