This just arrived...

A Roland UA-55 Quad Capture.

60 seconds to install and set-up.

USB 2 running 48 samples latency at 48 kHz and I haven't made it stutter yet!

Clean pre's, a lo-cut filter AND compression available on the way in.

This box ROCKS.  It doesn't get better than this if all you need is a couple of ins and outs!

YAMMY!

Looks sweet. I like that it supports 192kHz and runs off USB power.

Man, I gotta see that thang in action come some Sept 2012 morn.

Don't wait until then.... you will only have 3 months left to use it. So I hear.

I wish the Octa had an option to run on bus power if you aren't using the 48v PP. That would be nice for mobility.

I'm glad to see you have power and are OK. It looks like NYC might actually get flooded with a direct hit on Brooklyn. They could get water coming in from both sides of Long Island. Tomorrow AM between 7 and 9 eastern time. It will be interesting TV. I hope Obama doesn't break in with a speech.
OH... did you see the FEMA news conference about an hur ago. It looked like a SNL skit. They
had Janet Napalitino at the podium flanked by two people and some guy in a blue suit standing in front doing the hand signs, for the deaf, just as fast as he could... he was mouthing something... and Napalitino was jesturing with her hands while she was talking... my wife was almost in tears laughing. It couldn't have looked funnier. It was like she was using some other sign method and he was mouthing some other language.
I apologize if I seem insensitive but, it just cracked me up... I found it on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_xc8EhdL6Os

The lady looks like a bobble head and the man on the right looks like he is trying to not laugh... all they need is Garret Morris recapping for the hard of hearing... laff. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ESyTVnxxrPc

I really am glad you are OK...

Yeah.. Bapu will then be Bupa (shouldn't wait that long). Personally I think it will be something about like Y2K, much ado about nothing.

Wow, no kidding on that signer!  He makes it worse by looking like he's got gas or something.  Some of the faces he makes are hilarious and seem to have nothing to do with the information he's relaying.

There's a special running for the next month, if you pay 100% of each purchase I make there is NO tax due.

The more you buy (me) the more you save in Bouy tax.

This offer is open to everyone, so if there is something you'd like (me to have) now is the time to act.

I can't say fairer than that.

Did you win it for surviving a week of health service toleration?

Man Jon I've been wanting one of those...sure glad you got one.
I sure wish I could win something....in the states you don't win anything
for surviving our health care system.
My wife and I waited for over an hour when I sliced my finger open building my first
guitar.....and we were the only ones there!
All I got a was a bill. Had to fill out papers for another half hour so they could send me that.
Seems like they would have kept all that information from my previous visit.
