External audio interfaces for X1 under Boot Camp?

I've got a 5-year old PC running Windows 7 x64 and Sonar X1 right now.  I'm probably going to replace it with an iMac after Apple refreshes the iMac again (a few months away).

From what I've been reading, a lot of people are successfully running Sonar in Boot Camp, as long as it's in native mode and not under emulation (i.e. parallels).
The only issue seems to be the Realtek audio drivers under windows so I figure I'll need to use an external USB audio device.

Cakewalk's own USB interface specifically states it isn't supported under Boot Camp-- technically I don't understand why it wouldn't work, under boot camp it's just another Intel machine.

What are you boot camp users using?  I have an analog mixer and I'm not recording multiple simultaneous audio tracks, so just something with a single set of inputs will do, as long as it's low latency.

I have been booting to Win 7 64 bit on both a MacPro and MacBook Pro for the last few years. On the MacPro I use an RME RayDAT and they will offer support if you need it. I also asked Lynx about support for Windows on Macs and they said they'd also offer support for their interfaces in that situation. On the MacBook Pro I use a MOTU 828 mkII and it works fine but they will not give you any support for it. I suspect that the Roland USB interfaces will work fine, they just don't want to expend resources testing that configuration. Go with an RME interface if you can afford it, they are up there with the best. Or try the Cakewalk/Roland interface and just make sure you can return it if it doesn't work. (sorry about the lack of paragraphs... Firefox 6 and this forum don't get along with each other...)

Saffire 6 USB with MBP has worked flawlessly for me. Most of my work uses soft synths and Maschine as a sampler so I don't need a soundcard too often. For that I installed Asio4All.
